Earl Brown Park offers a one-mile fitness walk and several ways to play
The South Alabama Avenue park includes courts, a playground, a dog park and picnic facilities.

Earl Brown Park gives DeLand residents a place for a short fitness walk and a family outing at 750 South Alabama Avenue. The city lists a one-mile walking and jogging trail, an outdoor fitness area and two basketball courts.
The park also includes a playground, dog park, duck pond, amphitheater and skateboard and bike park. Three picnic pavilions and two restroom facilities make it possible to build a visit around more than one activity.
Residents planning a group cookout should contact Parks and Recreation about reserving the cook shed rather than assuming it is available. The city’s facility page lists 386-626-7315 for park questions. For an everyday outing, the one-mile route offers a clear starting point, with other activities nearby for family members who want to stay longer.
